LegalGuide.ae is an information and referral service for UAE property and tenancy matters. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. This policy covers how information submitted through our website is collected, used, and protected.

2. Information we collect

We collect only information you choose to submit:

• Quiz responses — your answers to the intake assessment (dispute type, timeline, documentation, etc.). These are processed to generate your case brief.
• Contact details — name, phone number, email, and preferred contact time, submitted only if you choose to request a lawyer referral.
• Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp). This data is not linked to your identity.

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run advertising or analytics scripts.

3. How we use your information

• Quiz responses are sent to our AI system to generate a structured case brief. They are not stored beyond the session.
• Contact details and case summary are shared with a small number of UAE-licensed lawyers only when you explicitly consent and submit the referral form.
• Technical logs are used for security, performance, and uptime monitoring only.

We do not use your information for marketing. We do not build profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data.

4. Sharing with third parties

Your information may be shared with:

• Anthropic — quiz responses are processed via the Claude AI API to generate case summaries. Anthropic's usage policies apply.
• Vercel — our hosting provider handles server infrastructure. Standard hosting data practices apply.
• Specialist lawyers — only when you explicitly submit the referral form and consent to sharing.

No other third parties receive your data.

5. Data retention

Quiz responses are not persistently stored by LegalGuide.ae — they are processed in real time to generate your brief. Contact details submitted via the referral form are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to facilitate the lawyer introduction, after which they are deleted.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of any contact information you have submitted by contacting us. As we do not create user accounts or persistent profiles, most quiz data is not retained beyond the active session.

7. Children

This service is intended for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at legalguide.ae/privacy. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
