RERA & Rental Dispute Filing Fees

RERA Complaint Fees Dubai 2026

Filing a complaint at the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre (RDSC) or via RERA in Dubai involves government fees. Here is the exact fee structure for 2026.

RDSC filing fees

Formula: 3.5% of the annual rent value
Minimum: AED 500
Maximum: AED 20,000
Example: Annual rent AED 80,000 → Filing fee = AED 2,800

Important: fees are non-refundable

The RDSC filing fee is paid upon submission and is not refunded even if you lose the case. This is why assessing your case strength before filing is critical.

Additional costs to consider

Lawyer fees (if you hire one): AED 1,500–5,000 for RDSC representation. Translation fees: AED 150–300 per document if documents are not in Arabic. Service of process fees: AED 200–500.
